Live Training · Since 2006
International groups. Six locations. One NLP Master Trainer.

Imagine finishing a training and knowing — not hoping, knowing — that you can work with the things that actually keep people stuck. Not surface behavior. The deep patterns. The grief that never fully moved. The shame that lives underneath the professional exterior. The habits wired in since childhood. The inner conflict that has someone paralyzed between two choices that both feel impossible. The anxiety that is not really about the future. It is about something in the past that never got resolved.
Imagine knowing how to work with all of that. Precisely. Ethically. Effectively. And then walking out of that same training with the ability to combine those tools with whatever else you do: ICF coaching, somatic work, trauma-informed practice, yoga, family constellations, breathwork, systemic approaches, meditation. And offer something that is genuinely yours.
That is what the NLP Master Practitioner course at Global NLP Training gives you.
It is not a repeat of the Practitioner. It is the level after it. The Practitioner tools come with you. The Master Practitioner builds on that foundation with an entirely new set of tools that require it to exist. One leads to the other by design, not just by formal requirement.
Most NLP schools treat the Master Practitioner as a more advanced version of the same content. Some run Practitioner and Master Practitioner simultaneously with the same group of students. The integration here is between NLP and emotional intelligence, a framework that leadership, human resources, and organizational development already understand and value. Graduates who trained elsewhere consistently arrive expecting something familiar and find something categorically different. What they say afterward tends to sound like the same thing: there is a life before training with Nicole, and a life after.

When people compare NLP Master Practitioner courses, two things rarely make it onto the list, and they are the ones that matter most.
Nicole Schneider has been delivering live NLP training since 2006. She brings thousands of hours of complex coaching experience across professional, personal, family, and relationship domains to every session. The level of expertise, precision, and human understanding she applies to advanced NLP work is the foundation that makes what happens in the Master Practitioner possible.
Students who trained elsewhere consistently say the same thing when they arrive: they did not know NLP could go this deep. They did not know a trainer could work like this.

Nicole Schneider · NLP Master Trainer · Founder, Global NLP Training
The majority of students entering the Master Practitioner have just spent a week together in the Practitioner. They have done real work with each other. They know each other in a way that most professional groups never do, and that context is what allows the Master Practitioner to go where it goes.
If you are joining for the Master Practitioner only, that group does not close when you arrive. It opens. The people who have just completed the Practitioner are warm, connected, and genuinely excited to meet someone new. You will be welcomed in from the first moment and working alongside people who already know how to do that well, because they have just spent a week practicing exactly that.
If you trained elsewhere and want to prepare thoroughly, everyone who registers receives access to our online NLP Practitioner training and manual. Nicole's team will give you a clear picture of where you stand and what, if anything, makes sense to review before you arrive.
There are students who redo the Practitioner with us specifically to be ready for our Master Practitioner. That says something about the level of what follows. If you want to explore that option, check out the Full Immersion program or ask us about our online NLP Practitioner training.
The NLP Master Practitioner works at the levels of values, identity, and purpose, the levels above what the Practitioner covers. The tools change because the territory changes. Below is what that means in practice.
A full day-by-day syllabus is available on request. Below a general scope is added.
Most NLP schools give timeline work a few hours. In this program, timeline work, parts work, and intervention design together cover roughly four and a half days. It is treated as the serious, layered methodology it actually is and could be.
Timeline work gives you a precise way to work with how the past is stored and what it means to someone now. That includes negative emotions attached to specific memories, regret about decisions that still carry weight, and anxiety rooted in experiences that never fully resolved. It also includes the quieter, more formative experiences: the period that shifted how someone saw themselves, the moment that became a story they still tell about who they are and what they are capable of. These patterns live at the level of identity. Timeline work reaches them.
Not all goal setting works the same way. The timeline approach in the Master Practitioner is designed specifically for large, complex, high-stakes goals, where someone knows what they want but cannot see the path, or where the size of the goal creates paralysis rather than momentum. It maps milestones neurologically, codes them as real, and creates the kind of committed forward direction that abstract goal setting rarely produces.
Some of the most persistent problems people bring to coaching are not problems of information or motivation. They are problems of inner conflict. Wanting something and simultaneously resisting it. Being completely stuck between two options where neither feels survivable. Parts work is the NLP approach to these conflicts and one of the most powerful tools in the program.
At this level you learn to work with self-esteem, feelings of inadequacy, chronic negative self-talk, limiting beliefs, deeply wired habits from childhood, and attachment patterns at the level where they actually live, which is identity, not behavior.
You will learn to design your own NLP interventions. Not to apply a technique from a manual, but to understand the architecture of change well enough to create custom work for your clients, your workshops, your consulting, yourself. This includes working with deeper issues including shame, grief, guilt, and anxiety. It also means you can combine NLP with other modalities and build something that is genuinely yours: trauma-informed coaching, somatic work, family constellations, ICF coaching, breathwork, systemic approaches, brain-centric learning etc.
You will learn to identify someone who does something exceptionally well, interview them to extract the precise structure of their excellence, and teach that skill set to others. This is what makes genuine niching possible. It transforms workshops from content delivery into the transfer of a specific, replicable capability and makes you significantly more useful in any environment where top performance needs to be understood and developed in others.
The final integration is between NLP and social and emotional intelligence. You will learn to speed read people using NLP alongside a personality assessment that every participant completes during the program. The 15 markers of emotional intelligence across five composite areas become a working map, not just for your own development, but for coaching, leading, and developing others with precision.
This means reading the emotional intelligence profile of the people around your clients, not just your clients themselves. It means using NLP to develop emotional intelligence deliberately in anyone you work with: a coaching client, a leadership team, a direct report, a family member. The application is as relevant in business coaching, human resources, and organizational development as it is in one-to-one coaching or personal practice.
NLP gives you the tools to develop emotional intelligence with a level of specificity that most approaches cannot match. This applies directly in coaching, leadership, corporate environments, and any context where understanding how people function under pressure matters.
You will also develop the ability to observe people differently: to read how identity and deeper patterns are coded and displayed in someone’s language, their physiology, their responses. This is what allows for genuine depth in understanding where layered, complex issues live in a mentally healthy person, and what to do about them.
The Practitioner works at the three lower levels: environment, behavior, and skills. The Master Practitioner works at the three upper levels: values, identity, and source.
The Practitioner tools remain with you. The Master Practitioner builds directly on them. This is why the programs are sequential by design, not just by formal requirement. What you learned at the behavioral and skills level is what makes the deeper work of the Master Practitioner legible.
The programs are designed to be done in order. Not because the Practitioner is a bureaucratic prerequisite, but because the work at values and identity level only lands properly once you have the foundation underneath it.
When NLP was created, more than ninety percent of psychological research focused on mental illness and negative emotion. Yet even then, NLP was already doing something the research had not caught up to: it was changing people.
What modern science has given us is the explanation for why. Neuroscience, positive psychology, and emotional intelligence research have spent decades mapping what NLP was already working with intuitively: how the brain encodes memory and experience, how the nervous system responds to threat and safety, how triggers get installed, how trauma shapes the stories we tell about ourselves, how the brain learns and changes, and what genuine wellbeing actually requires to build.
Most trainers mention science as a side note. Some dismiss it altogether. We do the opposite. We teach it. Not as theory, but as the foundation that makes the tools make sense.
The Master Practitioner is where positive psychology stops being a framework and starts being something you can actually use in a session. You are no longer learning what resilience is or why it matters. You are learning to design precise interventions that build it, in yourself and in the people you work with. The goal-setting work on timelines is positive psychology applied neurologically — priming the brain for success, coding milestones as real, creating forward momentum where before there was only intention. The core change work takes positive psychology's understanding of wellbeing and gives it teeth: specific tools for cultivating optimism, meaning, and emotional states that do not just feel good but hold.
At the Master Practitioner level, EQ is not about self-awareness. You have that. This is about precision application: reading the emotional intelligence profile of the people around your clients, not just your clients themselves. Understanding how a leadership team functions under stress. Recognizing the EQ patterns driving conflict in a family system. Using NLP with the specificity of the 15 markers to develop emotional intelligence deliberately in anyone you work with. Every participant completes a personality assessment during the program. The results become a working map, not a one-time insight.
This is directly applicable in business coaching, HR, and organizational development — anywhere that understanding how people function under pressure translates into better outcomes.
At the Master Practitioner level, neuroscience is not background context. It is the operating manual for the tools you are using. NLP timeline work is a method for updating how the brain stores emotional memory. Parts work addresses what happens in the nervous system when it is holding two contradictory responses simultaneously. Core change work operates at the level where identity patterns are encoded — the beliefs and stories the brain has been running long enough that they feel like facts.
We are trauma-informed. That means understanding how overwhelming experiences get installed in the nervous system as body responses rather than memories, how triggers work at a neurological level, and how to work with that carefully and effectively in mentally healthy people navigating real human complexity. The Master Practitioner tools are designed for exactly this territory.
Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two completely different things. Behavioral psychology and the science of habit formation have shown us why: habits are not decisions, they are automatic patterns the brain runs to conserve energy. Once a pattern is wired in, whether it serves you or not, the brain defaults to it. That is not a character flaw. It is neuroscience.
What CBT and behavioral science give us is a map of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect and reinforce each other. What they are slower to provide is a fast, effective way to interrupt that loop and install something new. NLP provides exactly that: practical tools for working with the patterns underneath the behavior, not just the behavior itself.
At the Master Practitioner level, you learn to work with identity-level habits, childhood wiring, and the deeply ingrained behavioral patterns that surface-level habit coaching cannot reach. Self-esteem, chronic negative self-talk, feelings of inadequacy, attachment patterns that have been running since childhood. These are not habits in the conventional sense. They are identity. And identity is where the Master Practitioner works.
At the Master Practitioner level, you learn to design guided visualization experiences yourself, for your clients, your workshops, and your specific niche. This is not visualization as stress relief or mindfulness as a practice. It is guided experience as a deliberate tool for neurological change: priming the brain for success, reducing the emotional charge on memories that have been holding someone back, building states that do not just feel good in the moment but reorganize how the brain responds going forward.
Combined with the intervention design work in the program, you leave with the ability to create guided processes that are genuinely yours, built on a foundation of neuroscience and NLP precision. Most practitioners use visualization as a finishing touch. At this level it is a core tool.

The Emotional Intelligence Day takes the work entirely outside the training room. Think of it as the Amazing Race: a game-based experience on the streets of Amsterdam, in Bali, along the coast of the Algarve, in Mexico. The skills developed across the week get applied live, with real people, in real situations, under real conditions.
It is the day where everything clicks. And it is consistently one of the most talked-about days of the entire program.
No preparation is required. If you completed the Practitioner with us recently, you are ready.
If you trained elsewhere, or it has been some time since your Practitioner, everyone who registers receives access to our online NLP Practitioner training and manual. Use it as much or as little as you choose. Nicole’s team is available to answer any questions about where you stand and what makes sense to review.
If you want to go further, the Full Immersion program lets you do the Practitioner live with us immediately before the Master Practitioner, for a marginal additional investment. It is an option many students in this situation find makes the Master Practitioner experience significantly richer.
The detailed day-by-day course description is in the syllabus.
A full day-by-day syllabus is available on request. Below a general scope is added.
A note on scheduling conflicts
Our programs run approximately 15 hours per week above the minimum certification hours. If you have a commitment that cannot move, there is often a workable solution.

Every technique in the Master Practitioner is practiced with a real partner on something real. At this level, that means working with material that actually matters: patterns that have been present for years, conflicts that have never fully resolved, goals that have felt out of reach. The learning is designed to be felt before it is analyzed. By the time you encounter a tool intellectually, something in you has already shifted.
Every class runs in a private, non-institutional setting. Not a conference center. Not a hotel ballroom. A private villa, retreat space, or carefully chosen venue in each destination, selected because immersion in this level of work requires separation from ordinary life.
Groups are small by design. The Master Practitioner group is not identical to the Practitioner group. Some students complete the Practitioner and continue directly into the Master Practitioner. Others join fresh for the Master Practitioner only. The beginning of the program is dedicated to bringing the full group together: integrating new arrivals, reconnecting the people who just completed week one, and creating the conditions for the week ahead. By the end of the first day, the group functions as a unit. By the end of the week, they have done things together that most people never do in a professional setting.
Master Practitioner graduates receive everything included in the Practitioner post-course support, plus:
Available to students who register paid in full
For when you are applying NLP with clients, employees, colleagues, leadership teams, or people in your personal life and want to consult someone who can tell you how to handle what you are facing: when NLP is the right tool, when to refer, and how to work with greater precision in complex situations. This is professional consultation, not personal therapy.
For building your coaching practice, business coaching offer, NLP consulting work, or training business
The Master Practitioner opens two clear next steps: the NLP Specialist programs for advanced application in a specific domain, and the NLP Trainers Training for those who want to teach.

You leave with three certifications. All issued under IBNIC and permanently verifiable at ibnic.org/verify. No annual renewal fees. No expiry date.
IBNIC credentials to a standard that travels. Not just within the NLP world, but into coaching practices, corporate environments, training organizations, therapy rooms, and educational institutions.
Membership is not open to every school. Curriculum, trainer qualifications, student feedback, and ongoing quality audits determine admission. An IBNIC credential means the training behind it has been held to those standards and continues to be.

Your IBNIC credential carries no annual renewal fees and remains valid permanently — unlike many NLP certification bodies that require ongoing membership payments to maintain your certified status. Verify any credential at ibnic.org/verify →
The advanced professional certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Recognized internationally across coaching, therapy, education, leadership, and organizational development.

A standalone coaching certification focused on values-level and identity-level coaching methodology. A second professional credential in its own right.

A third IBNIC-accredited credential reflecting the EQ integration built into the Master Practitioner. Applicable in coaching, leadership, HR, and organizational development.

The NLP Master Practitioner course runs at six locations. The program, the trainer, and the standard are identical at every one. What changes is the setting.
About 9 in 10 students who complete the NLP Practitioner go on to do the Master Practitioner. Most of them come back to do it with us.
Practitioner and Master Practitioner, back to back. Fifteen days, one continuous process. This is how most students who know they want both choose to do it, and the reason the Full Immersion exists.

View Dates & Register →An NLP Master Practitioner course is an advanced certification program in Neuro-Linguistic Programming that builds directly on the NLP Practitioner. Where the Practitioner works at the level of behavior, skill, and environment, the Master Practitioner works at the levels of values, identity, and purpose. It introduces new tools including NLP timeline work, parts work, core change work, intervention design, NLP modelling, and the integration of NLP with social and emotional intelligence.
Yes. The NLP Master Practitioner requires a completed NLP Practitioner certification. This is not only a formal requirement: the Master Practitioner builds directly on the Practitioner skill set, and the tools taught at this level require that foundation to work. If you completed your Practitioner with another school, you are welcome to join. Everyone who registers receives access to our online NLP Practitioner training and manual to prepare.
No. A psychology degree, an ICF credential at any level, and self-study or introductory exposure to NLP are not substitutes for having learned NLP properly from a trainer. The Practitioner is where the foundation is built: the techniques, the methodology, the embodied skill set. Without it, the tools taught in the Master Practitioner do not land the way they are designed to. If you have a strong professional background and want to move quickly, the Full Immersion program lets you do both programs back to back, which is how most serious professionals approach it.
The live NLP Master Practitioner course at Global NLP Training runs eight days, covering 70 to 75 contact hours.
You receive three IBNIC-accredited certifications: the NLP Master Practitioner, the Mindset & Life Strategy Coach, and the Social & Emotional Intelligence Coach. All three are internationally recognized and permanently verifiable at ibnic.org/verify.
No. ICF Continuing Coach Education hours are approved for the NLP Practitioner week only. Global NLP Training is an ICF-approved provider for CCE hours. If you completed your Practitioner elsewhere and want to qualify for those hours, contact us. Details are on the ICF CCE page.
Yes. Students join from other schools regularly. Everyone who registers receives access to our online NLP Practitioner training and manual. Nicole's team will give you a clear picture of where you stand and what, if anything, makes sense to review. If you want to do the Practitioner live with us before the Master Practitioner, the Full Immersion program makes that possible.
Directly. The EQ integration, the personality assessment, the modelling methodology, and the ability to design custom interventions are all immediately applicable in leadership, human resources, business coaching, and organizational development. The program carries IBNIC accreditation, which is a professional standard that corporate environments and HR approval processes recognize.
Every session is led by Nicole Schneider, NLP Master Trainer and founder of Global NLP Training. Nicole has been delivering live NLP training since 2006 and has trained over 2,500 graduates from 125+ countries.

The trainer's level matters most. After that: whether the program genuinely builds on the Practitioner rather than repeating it, how many hours are dedicated to the advanced tools, the quality of the accreditation behind the certification, and whether there is a clear pathway and post-course support structure. A live program with an NLP Master Trainer, full IBNIC accreditation, and three years of post-graduation professional support is the full standard. Most programs offer far less.
